Winock Solar Generator Reviews

In our previous post, we discussed the Winock solar review, where we discussed both the positive and negative reviews of all the Winock solar products. In today’s guide, we are going to narrow our discussion to Winock solar generator reviews. So, if you want to know more about the Winock solar generator, or you want to buy it, but you are not yet convinced about the durability of their products, then this article will be of immeasurable help to you.

Winock has two popular solar generators, the SurePower 1000 and the SurePower 2000. These solar generators are suitable for consumers with modest energy needs. However, the Winock solar generator is not suitable for high-energy-consuming users because it has limited power output.

What solar generators does Winock offer?

Winock offers different solar generators with varying specifications.  The two most common Winock solar generators are SurePower 1000 and SurePower 2000.

The SurePower 1000 is made of a 1 kWh (1000 Wh) LiFePO₄ battery, with about 200 W output load capacity. In the same vein, the SurePower 2000 model has a 2 kWh battery capacity and a 1000 W output load capacity.

In simple terms, if you have a 200 W load (fan + lights + TV maybe), a 1 kWh battery means theoretically you could run that for ~5 hours (1000 Wh ÷ 200 W = 5 hours). That is if the output is constant and efficient. Then it means that you can have “up to 5 hours” for the 1 kWh model.

For the 2 kWh/1000 W model: running a 1000 W load (say a fridge + lights + fans at once), you might get ~2 hours, or if you run smaller loads, maybe more. Then you will have “up to 8 hours” in one model.

The primary aim of Winock is to produce solar generators that will help low- and middle-income earners in Nigeria and other African countries to access stable electricity at no extra cost.

Winock Solar Generator Reviews

Although there are not many reviews from consumers who have used the Winock solar generator, the features that the solar generators come with suggest that it may be good.

For instance, the Winock solar generator has a modern battery, which is Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) and it comes with a dual port for grid and solar panel charging.

The battery capacity for the Winock solar generator is 2 kWh, which is good, especially if you only need a little amount of electricity to power your appliances.

However, even though the Winock solar generator sounds promising, if you are interested in using their products, you should conduct independent due diligence concerning their pricing, warranty, maintenance cost, durability, etc. These are important because they will help you to make an informed decision before buying it. Don’t forget to compare the Winock solar generator with other popular brands to enable you to get the best solar generator for yourself.

Meanwhile, if your power needs are not much. For instance, if you only need to power your lights, TV, fans, and laptop, then you can opt for Winock solar power, but if your power need is much, that means you will need extra power outputs that are higher than those offered by Winock; hence, you will need to go for other solar brands that have high solar generators.

Conclusion

Winock solar generators are suitable for those that need modest electricity, but for consumers that want to power energy-draining devices, then Winock is not the best option since they only have SurePower 1000 and SurePower 2000 solar generators.  In all, conduct your due diligence whenever you want to buy a solar generator from Winock to enable you to make an informed decision.
